What is a FunPack?
A FunPack is a monthly box of fun and flavor for your furry or feathered friend. Our FunPacks contain 4 - 6 high quality, carefully selected goodies, including, but not limited to, toys, treats, specialty items such as skin products, essentials, cage accessories and of course, food selections At times, we may also include product samples in our FunPacks. Edible items in our FunPacks primarily sourced from manufacturers in the USA, Canada and sometimes, Australia and New Zealand. We won't sell you anything that we wouldn't feed our own pets!
We love all sorts of pets, so we designed our FunPacks for birds (small, medium), rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and other small pocket pets. Have a different type of pet? Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us see if we can help find something for them. No reptiles please!
My pet has certain food allergies. Do you customize FunPacks for animals with certain sensitivities, likes/dislikes?
Absolutely! We believe that every pet deserves to be pampered, even those that may have certain age or health concerns or even pet-parent preferences. Although we cannot individually customize a FunPack for your specific pet, we do provide products that are geared towards your pet's best interest. We do ask that to help us do this, you answer a short Pet Profile at checkout. This will give us the information we need to ensure the pack you receive, whether it's a one-month order or a twelve month subscription, contains age and health appropriate items. If you do not complete the profile, we will send a regular diet, adult pet FunPack.
Can I select the items for my FunPack?
Sorry, but no - all contents for the FunPacks are hand-selected by our owners, Bunny and Chris. However, if you received something in a FunPack, and want to be sure we include it in your next or future ones, just let us know and we will make sure to do that, if the product is available. If there is something that your pet just absolutely loves (certain treats, etc.,) go ahead and tell us about it in the pet profile and we will do our best to accomodate. Also,you can look at our Goodies pages under your pet type, and buy any of the items there, many of which have been included in the FunPacks. If you have any ideas about things for future FunPacks, we'd love to hear from Fido, Kitty, Hoppity, or whatever type of furr-ball or feathered friend you have, about what they would like to see in upcoming FunPacks.
We do try to make each month's box unique - we are not one sized fits all. We tailor the boxes to your pet profile. We also try not to put in the same items repeatedly, unless you specifically ask us to. But there are some pets that there just isn't a wide variety available of toys and treats - hedgehogs, ferrets for example, so we may have to send the same or similar items in the longer term subscriptions.
Can I Order by the month?
Of course! While the prices are reduced for the 3 or 6 month subscriptions, we want to provide you with the opportunity to try our product, knowing that you'll like it and want to buy it again.
How does the subscription work?
Like a charm! All you need to do is select the FunPack subscription period you want (3 or 6 month), and please, complete the Pet Profile at checkout. Enter your billing and shipping information, then sit back and get ready to receive a FunPack each month!
Can I mix FunPacks in the subscription period so both my pets will get something?
Yes - we now offer the Lil Buddy Box for multi-pet families. This is available on a month to month or 3 month subscription. Depending on the number of different pet types, each pet will receive one or more items. This is usually for 2 - 4 pet types max. We also offer Buddy Boxes which are two full size FunPacks shipped in a single (larger) box, and priced 50% off the lower priced box. Sorry, we don't offer these as a subscription because we already discounted it so much, but if you want more than one, simply order the quantity you want, and we will ship each month. You can combine the pet types for these boxes (i.e. rabbit/guinea pig, etc). We have some standard combinations shown in the drop down menus under the Buddy Box icon, but if you need a combination not shown, just drop us an email with the pet types and we can tell you what the price would be and how to proceed. Please note that effective February 2019, we no longer offer FunPack options for dogs, cats or large birds.
My rabbit loved last month's FunPack - can I request another pack with the same items?
We are so happy that Bun enjoyed her FunPack! And yes, you can specifically request any item that has been in a FunPack you've received before to be included in your next one.
How will I be billed for my monthly subscription?
We will bill you for your full subscription price at the time of order. We do not process monthly billings for the subscription plans.
What happens at the end of my subscription? Do you automatically renew it?
Your pet becomes very unhappy if you don't renew! Seriously though, when we send out your shipping email with your last FunPack, we will let you know that your subscription has expired and ask if you wish to renew. If you do, all you need to do is reply back, and we will send an invoice to you with a link for you to click and complete your order.
Can I give a FunPack as a gift to a friend?
You betcha! You're the kind of friend we like. We love to have people want to share FunPacks with their friends. The process works like any other order, except you just tell us who and where to ship to and complete the pet profile for your gift recipient. Also, if you want the FunPack delivered by a specific date, please let us know and allow at least 7 days. We will also include a gift note if you tell us what you want it to say.
How does the gift subscription process work?
You can purchase a FunPack as a one time or monthly subscription gift. All you need to do is click on the "Gift" header on our home page, select the type of pet your friend has, and proceed to checkout. Again, we ask that you provide us with some information on your friend's pet, to the extent you can, so that we can provide an appropriate pack for them. But not to fear, if you don't now all the answers, we will send the FunPack for an adult pet / small bird as a default and we'll include a gift note in the box, which will tell the recipient about us, ask them to provide us with more pet specific information and give them the one-time option to switch out the box if it's not pet appropriate. Then, for the rest of the subscription period, they'll get the best box for their pet, and you'll have earned their never ending gratitude for introducing them to us. Also, gift subscriptions are billed in full at the time of order and are non-refundable.
What payment options do you have?
We accept PayPal, VISA, MasterCard and Discover. Sorry, no checks, and believe it or not, no cash.
When will my FunPack ship?
At a minimum, we ship twice a month - on the 5th and the 20th. So, if you place your order during the 1st half of a month, your FunPack will ship no later than the 20th of the current month; if you place your order during the last half of the month, your FunPack will ship no later than the 5th of the following month. We may ship more frequently depending on number of orders received.
Where do you ship and how much is shipping?
FunPacks are shipped anywhere in the continental US at no charge - yep, FREE. We cover the cost of shipping First Class via USPS direct to your door. Shipping charges will apply for orders from our Goodies inventory and will vary based on the order and where it is being shipped. Shipping charges will apply for all FunPacks and orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and international locations. Requests for expedited shipping will be billed for the shipping costs prior to shipment. We will notify you of the exact cost.
International Shipping Costs: When ordering a subscription to be shipped to an international address, please select the proper shipping rate from the drop down box at order. For example, and single month shipped to Canada is an additional $11, but for a 3 month subscription, you would choose the 3 month shipping - $33, or $66 for a six month subscription. If the wrong rate is paid, we will contact you and bill for the remainder prior to shipping your boxes.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes. Each month when your FunPack or order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
What is your cancellation policy?
We hate to lose a customer, but we know it happens. You can cancel your subscription by emailing us at email@example.com. Please let us know within 20 days of receipt of your last FunPack, so we do not ship the next box. We do reserve the right to bill a final amount to true up your pricing. If you purchased a 6 month subscription at the discounted price and cancel before the end of the subscription period, we may bill for the discount you received for the shipped FunPacks. Gift subscriptions are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
Do you support any animal charities?
Typically, we donate a portion of our sales to selected 501(c) rescue organizations at the end of the year, or provide them with discounts for purchases from our site. We may also provide in-kind donations for special fund raisers, or raffles on a case by case basis.
